Yep, this is the central place I'm putting stuff about my characters in FFXIV. Speaking of...
My characters:
Carrie "Whitesteel"
Carrie's weird. Some folks from the ninth were attempting to bring someone back to life, but ended up messing up her body, and creating a new consciousness instead. The soul of her body's former resident now lives in the lifestream, waiting for a new chance at life.
Oh, and 'Whitesteel' is more of a title than anything. She's got no proper last name.
Anyway, appearance-wise, Carrie's fairly similar to a Miqo'te, though with larger ears, a fluffier tail, and digitigrade legs with paws. Her clan marks are painted-on in an attempt to make her look slightly more normal. Her arms are prosthetics made out of electrope, and she has red electrope traces that light up with the flow of aether running all over her body.
Carrie's both blind and mute. Though, she can "see" somewhat by using strands of her own corporeal aether as feelers to check out her immediate surroundings. She can "see" up to about six yalms away in all directions (even behind her), and up to 30 if she focuses in one specific direction. Her workaround for communicating is using enchanted ink to write down whatever she wants to say, though that isn't particularly cheap, so that's reserved for special circumstances.
Please don't ask how the hell Carrie ends up in the source from the ninth. I don't know. Suspend your disbelief for me, 'kay? ...Please?
Lumia de Lunares
Lumia's an Au Ra. She's covered in more scales than an average Au Ra, but aside from that, she's not really special.
Lumia is the sole surviving (adopted) heir of the Ishgardian house of Lunares, a house so minor you'd be hard-pressed to find any written mention of them anywhere.
More coming later, I'm tired right now. But in the meantime...
